I keep all the passages and quotes in a tabbed and organized journal, so that I can always refer to them at a later date/time. I recently had the idea to start a Blog around book passages and quotes that spoke to me, deep down to my core, but the implementation process has been a tad bit slow.

In 2024, I made a goal to read 35 books. By the end of 2024, I read almost 50 books, and read over 18,000 pages. So in 2025, I plan to shoot for the stars ‘ and try to hit the 50 book mark. I mainly read science fiction or fantasy related books, but occasionally I will branch out. However, I do not like books that have too much romance or anything scary (thrillers or otherwise). Some of my favorite authors to date are: Patrick Rothfuss, Mark Lawrence, N.K. Jemisin, and R.R. Verdi. The list does keep growing though, as new books emerge and get added to my “to read” section in StoryGraph (the app).

In many of the books I plan to discuss, I pulled anywhere between 1 and 10 quotes or passages. I will do my best to only pick a few from each book though if this is the case. 🙂 I truly hope that the words, passages, and quotes speak to you, as much as the spoke to me, and that you found them enlightening and thought-provoking. If you have any book recommendations, please share them with me, and I will add them to my list. At the current moment though, I have around 120 books sitting in my “to read” list. However, most of them are series.
